He was praying in a certain place, and when he had finished, one of his disciples said to him, “Lord, teach us to pray just as John taught his disciples.” He said to them, “When you pray, say: Father, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come. Give us each day our daily bread and forgive us our sins for we ourselves forgive everyone in debt to us, and do not subject us to the final test.”

Luke 11:1-4

Lord Jesus, you taught your disciples to pray by first praising the Father and asking for His kingdom to come and then by asking for our daily needs. Help us to place God first in our lives and know that He will take care of us and all we need.

This section also highlights the difficulties and rejection Jesus experienced in Galilee. 

3. The Journey to and Teaching Ministry in Jerusalem: The central portion of Luke’s Gospel focuses on Jesus’ journey towards Jerusalem and His Passion, which includes Jesus’ teachings on how to pray and the story of His triumphant entry into Jerusalem. 

4. The Passion and Resurrection Narrative: Focuses on the story of the Last Supper and Jesus’ Passion, Death, Resurrection, and Resurrection appearances.
